Facilities we currently have at Brookstray Park
PLAY AREA
We currently have a very limited play area for kids. We have two slides and one small canopied area.
Unfortunately the swing set has been non-functional for months due to disrepair.
We do not have any play facilities for 0-4 and 12-18 age groups.
SEATING
There is no proper seating in the entire park. There are two tree stumps and some partial stone perimeter that people could uncomfortably lean/ sit on. Adult supervising the children in the play area have nowhere nice to sit. There are also no picnic tables.
SPORTS AREA
There is one single basketball hoop next to the play area for kids/ local adults to enjoy.
We have no outdoor gym equipment, walking path, track or ball court.
SPACE
There is a lot of potential for the park as it's a spacious open space in the heart of Willenhall. We are confident that the pride and love for our community will inspire more amazing people to join us to make real changes to Brookstray Park with determination and commitment.
