Our Story
We are Friends of Broostray Park
We are a dedicated group of volunteers, united by our passion for making a difference in the Willenhall community. Our primary goal is to gather momentum and bring together resources to enhance Brookstray Park, transforming it into a vibrant, welcoming space where people of all ages can enjoy themselves.
We envision a park that offers something for everyone, from playgrounds, sports areas and walking trails, relaxing picnic areas to spaces for community events. Through our collective efforts, we hope to make Brookstray Park a centerpiece of our community, reflecting the spirit and pride of Willenhall. Join us in our mission to improve the park and create a lasting impact on our neighborhood.

With a strong background in science, I was initially drawn to conservation efforts aimed at protecting Coventry's ecosystems. My commitment to fostering a healthier environment now drives me to engage with the Willenhall community, where I hope to gather support from local residents to transform Brookstray Park into a more welcoming and sustainable space for patrons of all ages. By blending scientific expertise with community-driven initiatives, I strive to create lasting, positive change for both the environment and the lives of local residents.
